About Allium
Allium is a home-based floral design studio launched in 2013 by Kim Stanke. After years of working in both retail stores and special event design shops, Kim decided to start her own business to flex her creative muscles. Allium focuses their designs on the client’s overall vision, pulling together all aspects of the event. From a simple dinner centerpiece to a large 450 guest wedding, there is no order that Allium cannot handle.
Focusing on all facets of social media, Allium is using Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest to capture the attention of clients everywhere. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Wedding Floral Design:
We do it all, from the Engagement Party to the Bridal Shower, a few centerpieces for the Rehearsal Dinner, the big day and a follow up thank-you vase to the parents after the big day. - Wedding Planning Assistance
- Full Set-up & Delivery, including a turn if necessary
- Pinning on Boutonnieres/Corsages
- Day of Coordination
- Consultations
Free of charge at a mutual location within 30 minutes of our Lombard studio. Should you be planning from outside of the Chicago & Western Suburbs, we also do phone and Skype consultations. Why Allium?
No Brainer. Take a wedding for example:
1) We listen. From the moment you contact us, to the moment we send you down the aisle, we will listen to your every thought. We will then take your vision and pair it with our expertise to ensure your event is exactly as you pictured it.
2) With Attention to detail. Did you have a special trinket you wanted to carry but just wasn’t sure how to incorporate it? We’ll add it to your bouquet. Need to make sure all bouts are pinned just right for your pictures? Check. Need to make sure your train is laid out just perfect for that big walk down the aisle? Got it. When we take on an event, we take on the whole event. We offer all types of services (listed above) to make sure the entire day goes off without a visible hitch.
3) Passionately. This is our happy place. Watching two people declare their love to each other is one of our very favorite things. And being a part of that is the whole reason this business was launched. As excited as you are to get married, that’s how excited we are to be apart of it!
